I feel up old water bottles with tap water for here at home. I wash them out. Is that the same as just buying the water in the bottles?
Hi Darleen, tudies indicate they may leach DEHP—another probable human carcinogen—when they are in less-than-perfect condition. This is a commonly used plasticiser. The bottles are more likely to leech more of the other chemicals as well through the small cracks that sometimes go unseen over time. Try the stainless ones, they are great!
